Ready to Enroll?

Log on to the new PetSmart Benefits Portal to make your 2025 benefit elections, starting October 7th.

We understand that benefits are a crucial part of your total compensation and each associate has different health & well-being needs. That’s why we are dedicated to providing a variety of plans and carriers to best meet you and your family’s needs.

As you know, health insurance benefits costs are shared between PetSmart and the associate. When we face rising health care costs, PetSmart and our associates are impacted by changes in insurance rates from our carriers.

That’s why it is so important to review all of your available coverage options in our Benefits Portal. It is possible that your current coverage price will increase and may no longer be the best deal for you and your family next year.
We encourage all eligible associates to review their benefits plan options through the Help Me Choose tool to find the right fit for coverage in 2025, even if you choose to make the same elections.

Please review all plan information carefully as associates who do not make any changes to their current plan elections may see an increase per pay period. However, an associate may be able to choose a lower cost carrier or a different coverage plan that could result in a decrease in premiums for 2025.

If you do not make any changes, your current plan type and carrier will carry over to 2025.

For associates not eligible for medical, dental, or vision benefits, PetSmart offers a variety of other benefits such as 401K, Ally – our EAP program – and more. Explore the rest of the benefit website to learn more about all of the AWEsome Offerings.

Below are the low-cost weekly rates that will be available to all associates. The carrier that holds the low-cost plan will be dependent on which region you reside in.

A health savings account allows you to save money for qualified medical expenses for this year and the future. Associates that enroll in a qualifying High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) get access to enroll in a Health Savings Account (HSA). PetSmart contributes to your HSA each year you are enrolled. Individual coverage enrollment earns $250/year, and family coverage earns $500/year – that’s free money!

Any money you have in your Health Savings Account will remain with you until it is used. If you don’t not elect a qualified High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) in 2025, you will still have access to your HSA funds. If you do elect a qualified HDHP plan in 2025, you will have the option to contribute pre-tax money into your HSA account through pay-roll deductions.

That’s right, YOU have life insurance. Why is it important to name a beneficiary? In the event of your death, we must know who you designate to receive the benefit proceeds. If a beneficiary is not named, or hasn’t been updated, the insurance policy or state law decides who receives the funds. We want to make sure the proceeds go to the person, trust or organization of your choice so we encourage you to review you beneficiary now!
