  • If you are a full-time associate scheduled to work 34 or more hours per week, and you are classified as full-time by your manager, you are eligible to participate in PetSmart’s benefits package, which includes quality health care programs and Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to help you save for retirement. You can also explore this website where you’ll find information and tools to help you use your benefits and maintain good health.
  • If you are a part-time associate in Saskatchewan, you can participate in the plan after six months of continuous employment working an average of 15 hours per week.  For more information, contact HRSS Canada at HRSharedServices@petsmart.com.
  • If you are a part-time associate outside of Saskatchewan, you can participate in the Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to help you save for retirement. You can also participate in the Perkopolis program which offers discounts at many of your favourite places to shop.

FlexSmart

Here at PetSmart, we know that when life happens, you have to be flexible. We also know that we all work best in our own way, which is why we offer the FlexSmart flexible work schedule. FlexSmart operates under a simple premise – associates are expected to consistently perform exceptional work that advances our mission and vision. Sometimes, this can be accomplished with a flexible work schedule. A flexible schedule can mean many things, including telecommuting and working non-traditional business hours. This policy only applies to PetSmart associates at the Phoenix Home Office and the Canada Home Office. Some teams may have supplemental guidelines, such as the Services Reservation Center and IT Solutions Center.

PetSmart offers a variety of medical benefits, discounts, and support to our full-time and part-time associates depending on eligibility.

Enrollment letters are sent to the associate’s work location and personal email address, if provided at the time of hire. If the enrollment letter has not been received, associates should contact HRSharedServices@petsmart.com.

PetSmart observes a variety of different holidays throughout the year.

PetSmart associates are eligible for a variety of company and non-company discounts. Associate discounts include 15% discount on products and services and up to 50% off proprietary brands. Associates can also take advantage of our Perkopolis partnership for access to thousands of discounts on things like cell phones, travel & entertainment, groceries and much more.
